This all comes down to their lightweight microfibre material made from a blend of polyester and polyamide, which allows you to easily roll the towel into a compact travel-size bundle. While on the sand the material's fine fibre prevents sand from getting stuck in the towel so you can easily shake it off for a clean surface.

These same materials make the towel super hydrophilic, meaning they are able to quickly absorb water but are also fast drying
